Pages 2 Stages (P2S), a local non-profit organization dedicated to using arts to serve the community, offers L.I.F.E. students the chance to explore their interests, nurture their talents and learn to express themselves in new ways using creative and performing arts. Each week, students work creatively with volunteers and leaders from P2S to develop their communication skills through team-building and artistic exercises. Through activities such as improvisation games, painting workshops, dance, and music sessions, students enjoy a fun, safe space to express themselves through various forms of art.
L.I.F.E. students looking to discover new strengths and abilities, skills and success enjoy our Special Olympics program. It provides our students with an opportunity to participate in fun activities with friends and family. Athletes train to compete in bowling and soccer competitions through the Special Olympics Florida, whose mission is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports activities. Student athletes meet weekly for team practice to learn the fundamentals of the sport, team building skills and good sportsmanship.
