Thank you for your interest in applying to the Atlantis Academy L.I.F.E. Program. We welcome new students throughout the school year. Our admissions process helps us identify young adults who can benefit from our educational and work experience programming while allowing interested students and families the chance to witness our program in action.
Step 1: Complete and submit the online Enrollment Inquiry Form.
Step 2: Schedule an in-person interview. Our Admissions Office will contact you to schedule an initial interview with our program director. During this meeting, students and their parent or guardian will have the opportunity to tour our facility, review our programs and meet our staff. We will answer questions; review tuition, fees and scholarship opportunities and discuss the next steps in the admission process. Please bring your student’s Psychoeducational Testing, Individual Education Plan (IEP) and previous school records with you to this meeting.
Step 3: Schedule a student shadow day. We provide prospective students the opportunity to experience the L.I.F.E. program first-hand. They spend an entire school day in our classrooms, participating in activities, interacting with other students and exploring our unique learning environment.
Step 4: Finalize your enrollment. On acceptance, you will be notified by phone and email and an enrollment packet will be emailed to you. Once your enrollment paperwork is complete, our program director will contact you to schedule a meeting to finalize your enrollment and process any additional paperwork required by our work experience business partners. Fees and tuition payment for the first session will be due at this time.
Admission Deadline:
We admit students throughout the year and accept applications at any time.
Admission Criteria:
Students are admitted based on parent/student interviews, review of psychoeducational testing, student participation in Shadow Day, and, if requested by the school, further diagnostic evaluation. Atlantis Academy does not discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, gender, creed, ethnic or national origin.
